Ok so far my Thanksgiving weekend project has been going pretty good but now I need some advice. I decided to drop the differential and do the complete bushing replacement instead of just the two front bushings. I have all the old bushings out, including the oter metal sleeves from the origional bushings in the subframe (note: the subframe was not removed). The anoying problem is getting the rear ES subframe bushings installed. I am using the 1/2 threaded rod method suggested in Mike Smith's writeup but as soon as I start getting some pressure on the bushing it wants to shift and wont start in the hole. I thought I ran across a post from Damon where he placed the inner metal cup in the ES bushing to keep it from shifting. I am also trying to use one of the front bushing to pull the rear bushing in and if I use the metal cup it seems like that will keep the ES bushing from shifting. Does this method look viable or does anyone have any advice before I waste an entire day in frustraion?

I still need to burn off the rest of the rubber from the metal cup
